Product description

This recall involves Sail Brand Removable Car Door Steps. The black-colored steps are made of aluminum and their packaging bears the model number 06-1702 and UPC 774185432139. The steps also act as emergency glass breakers.

Hazard identified

The step clip can break which can cause the user to fall and cause injury.

As of August 17, 2021, the company has received two reports of the removable step board breaking causing a strain and sprain in Canada.

Number sold

The company reported that 234 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from August 2020 to June 2021.
