Product description
This recall involves two Scentsy decorative wax warmers. The Luminary Jack warmer is dark grey in colour with pumpkin cut outs. The Bless This Home warmer is white and grey in colour, and is the shape of a house with window cut outs. Both warmers have a small container for wax, a light bulb to heat the wax, and a cord to power the unit.

Hazard identified
The electrical components of the warmers may be corroded posing a fire hazard.
As of December 8, 2020, due to Scentsy's recall efforts, Scentsy has received 158 reports of non-functioning warmers or images of cut-cords in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 2,605 reports of non-functioning warmers or images of cut-cords and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
The company reported that 207 units of the Luminary Jack Warmers and approximately 60 of the Bless This Home Warmers were sold in Canada. About 5,424 Luminary Jack Warmers were sold in the United States.

The recalled products were sold online and by Scentsy consultants.
The Luminary Jack Warmer was sold from September 1, 2020 to September 10, 2020. The Bless This Home Warmer was sold from July 10, 2020 to September 10, 2020.
