Product description

This recall involves the Method Gel Hand Wash, Sweet Water (354 ml) product. The UPC code is located on the back of the label. The recalled product can also be identified by entering the lot code located on the bottom of the bottle through the Method recovery website, www.methodhsrecovery.com.

Hazard identified

The recalled products may have the presence of the microorganism Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pseudomonas aeruginosa poses little medical risk to healthy individuals. Individuals with certain health problems or compromised immune systems are at an increased risk of infection if they use the contaminated product.

As of November 10, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The company reported that 894 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
