This voluntary recall involves Philips Hue 40 Watt outdoor power supply units (PSU) sold with the following Philips Hue base kit outdoor lights:

The recall applies to power supply units (PSU) with the first four digits of the production date code identified by numbers from 0001 up to 1941. The four-digit date code can be found on the front of each power supply unit (PSU) as a five-digit number. See images for details on locating and identifying the date code. Only the first four digits represent the date code.

Hazard identified

Some Philips Hue 40 Watt outdoor power supply units (PSU) may become damaged due to water leakage and pose a risk of electric shock.

As of October 28, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The company reported that 11,037 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
