This recall involves the LED Solar 200 Lumen Motion Light (8805624). The brand of the product is Ultra Performance. The product is solar powered and black in colour. The recalled products have model number 12539 and UPC 000000192221125393. 

Hazard identified

The battery may overheat posing a burn and fire hazard.

As of November 19, 2019 the company has received 1 report in Canada of a battery overheating causing the product to ignite in fire, no injury was reported.

Number sold

Approximately 4824 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from December 2018 to November 2019.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to any Princess Auto location during normal business hours for a refund or to obtain a replacement unit.
