Product description

This recall involves the Wetskins Children's Rainsuit with drawstrings in the hood and neck area. The rainsuits are available in sizes S, M, and L and are yellow or red.

Hazard identified

Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

As of August 15, 2019 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 7,000 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from 2014 to 2019.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the Wetskin Children's Rainsuit to eliminate the hazard.
