Lotus teapot with bamboo votive stand
Product description
This recall involves Kikkerland brand lotus glass teapot and removable infuser with bamboo votive stand and lid. The teapot is made of borosilicate glass. Votive candles are not included with the product. The model number printed on the packaging is TP02 and UPC code is 6 12615 06900 8.
Hazard identified
The bamboo votive stand can catch fire, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
As of January 11, 2017, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 102 of the recalled teapots were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled teapots were sold from March 2014 through July 2016 in both Canada and in the USA.
Place of origin
Manufacturer in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled teapots and stands and contact Kikkerland Design for return instructions.
