Product description
This recall involves Easton Axis arrows in the following four different sizes and batch numbers:

The carbon composite arrows are used for hunting and target archery. They are black with green and gray-coloured graphics. Axis, Focused Energy, Easton, the size number and the batch number are printed on the arrows.
Hazard identified
The arrows may have a discontinuity (also called a wrinkle or blemish) located on one side of the shaft approximately 10.5 inches from the point end. There is a possibility that the discontinuity could compromise the strength of the arrow.
There have been no incidents or injuries reported in Canada or the United States.
Number sold
Approximately, 1800 were sold across Canada and 20,700 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold between February 21, 2013 and May 10, 2013.
Place of origin
Manufactured in the United States.
