Product description
The WRSI Moment and Trident models of white water kayaking and rafting helmets have a plastic chinstrap buckle and were sold in sizes S/M and M/L. "WRSI" is printed on the visor of the Trident helmet. The product number is printed on the hang tag of both models.

Hazard identified
The chinstrap buckle can fail, posing a head injury hazard to users.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these helmets.
In the United States, WRSI is aware of 10 incidents of chinstrap failures with no injuries reported.

Approximately 200 of the recalled helmets were sold in Canada.
Approximately 2,000 of the recalled helmets were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled helmets were sold from April 2012 to July 2012 in Canada.
The recalled helmets were sold from March 2012 to November 2012 in the United States.
