12601579
Char-Broil® Gas Patio Bistro® 180 Table Top 13601833

These are single-burner propane gas grills intended only for outdoor use, with both a table-top and a free-standing model. These grills are equipped with a battery-operated integrated electronic ignition and intended for outdoor use. The grills have round black bodies with silver/aluminum trim. The words “Char-Broil®” and “Patio Bistro®” are printed near the thermometer on the grill’s lid and near the control knob on the front of the grill. The grills have a rating label on the bottom support of the back of the unit that states “Char-Broil, LLC”, the model number and other information.

Hazard identified

If the burner flame goes out and the consumer turns the control knob to “OFF”, the electronic ignition may unexpectedly ignite the accumulated propane, posing a burn hazard.

In the United States, 26 incident reports have been received, resulting in 4 reports of burns and 7 other reports of burned or singed hair.

Neither Char-Broil nor Health Canada has been made aware of any incidents in Canada related to the use of these grills.
